Overview
The ISMD is well equipped with a computer laboratory possessing over 30 computers that supports high quality modern software.
The laboratory is opened during the office hours and also in the night when necessity arises. Various kinds of software packages
commonly used in the surveying, Photogrammetry, Remote sensing domains such as ZWCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4d, Agisoft, PIE Software’s,
all MS packages, etc.. are able to run on these computers in the windows operating environments. All the course participants, whatever
the course, including consultancy services and short term courses will be given basic knowledge of selected computer applications.
All these computers are on one network under ISMD Local Area Network (LAN).
Also the computer branch developing the systems for,
- Result sheets generation and analysis, Academic
- Library system for issuing, receiving, book searching etc.
- Stores management system for the institute
