There are about 15 highly qualified and skilled professionals who are trained academically and professionally in Sri Lanka as well as abroad. The staff consists of permanent lecturers and assistant lecturers, those who are competent in teaching and thorough with the profession in various disciplines such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), Geodesy and Land Surveying etc.
Some of their main responsibilities, amongst others, are to deliver lectures, conduct practical classes and attend other matters whatsoever related to academic work. They are well supported by qualified technical personals attached to the ISM academic staff in carrying out their activities properly and achieving the objectives of the institute successfully. They are devoted to sharing their updated knowledge in the field of interest of each individual with the students throughout the day even outside office hours.
